Started reloading more, now that ammo is so scarce. I used to cast for pistol ammo but have only cast for my muzzleloaders lately. Had been buying new ammo to shoot IDPA matches. When I found a coffee can full of .452-460 bullets that hadn't been sized I had to start digging thru boxes to find my Lyman lubri-sizer.

Cleaned it up, changed dies and started sizing. Kinda brought back old memories. My fingers still smell like 20 year old Javelina bullet lube. These bullets had been cast hard, probably with linotype (cant remember) as they only weighed 187 grs and were super hard.

Will load these up for my 45acp and then start on a can of 429-421 bullets for my 44 mag. :-D

A young fellow on a local forum wanted to know if reloading was worthwhile. DUH!

I think I realized many years ago that shootin just wouldn't be that much fun if I didn't load my ammo. And cast my own boolits - well, it's just that much more interesting. Mike
