The good day fairy must've been saving this one up for me.
It's Friday and beautiful outside for starters......I didn't have to work but the wifey's car needed two new tires before state inspection this month so I took it in to the tire shop.
I've been inquiring at this place for the last 3 months with no luck but today I hit the jackpot. After inquiring on the price of the tires but before committing to buy I asked if he would let me buy some WW. He said he thought he could scrounge up a few like maybe half a bucket and that they usually sell them for ....drum roll.... five cents a pound.
While they were mounting the tires the salesperson and I "scrounged around" to see what he could come up with and I came away with 450 lbs. of WW and at his quoted price of 5 cents a pound.
And as if that weren't enough good luck for one day when I got home, the mail lady delivered my mold and handles from Factory sales (Lee) that have been ordered for almost 8 weeks now.
I'm definitely going out and buy a MegaMillions lottery ticket for tonight's drawing.
