Well, after my first pan-lube attempt, I decided cutting the boolits from the lube rather than pushing was the way to go - casting .452 255FP, so - here's what I whipped up:

1-.45-70 catridge case, expanded in the .45/70 die
1 screw bolt /w screw head
1 fender washer
1 compress. spring

I drilled out the primer pocket, stuck the fender washer and spring on the screw bolt, inserted it into the primer hole, and screw in the head screw inside the catridge case - voila, one spring-loaded pusher/cutter?

What do y'all think?

Aha... I see.... what a neat idea!

I lube-size... which is probably why I couldn't see it!

That's pretty slick! A lot of my boolits don't pull out of the pan unless I hold my thumb over the primer pocket for some suction. Now I'm thinking a little grease and an o-ring added to your idea might solve that problem... nice job.
