I found this on the RELOADERS GUIDE FORUM this morning, it has probably been posted here before, but I have not seen it.

The article is very informative, and should be a must read for those who are just starting out with this hobby. even us oldsters may find something we have forgotten.:castmine:

Good article but I would use a toothpick or maybe a sharpened brass rod to carefully clean out vent lines rather than a sharp pointed steel object as suggested by the author!

When I need to clean vent lines I use an Xacto knife, the sharp pointed one, it works good, just be carefull and go slooooooowwwww.

Brass works great. You'll need to re-sharpen as the point rounds off on iron molds.

Dental picks are good also, just don't let your dentist see you slipping one into your pocket.
