A friend of mine bought a rock polisher/tumbler at a yard sale and has used it with great success for at least 10 years.

Thanks. I was thinking that but glad to know my mind was on the right track for a change. It gets de-railed so often

Horrible Freight has a variety of them at pretty cheap prices... check their website if there is no store convenient to you.

I can highly recommend Thumlers Tumblers.

I have two and the model B handles wet. I use it with ceramic media or my BP cases and think its just champion.

I use Midway tumblers. I use stainless steel shot with burnishing compound. They run 12hrs a day. Only one went bad.

RCBS makes a "Sidewinder Case Tumbler" that can use liquid or solid media. VERY pricey, $387.50 at Midsouth.

+1 on the Thumlers Tumblers. They use a big O ring for a belt. Mine is over 30 yr old and the belt (O ring) is the only thing I've replaced.

I had a Thumbler Model "B" for several years. It worked very well. It has long proven itself as a rock tumbler (they run days at a time and hold up). I sold mine to finance my Dillon large vibratory tumbler. The Dillon is faster for regular cleaning and is VERY large capacity (something I needed) but it will NOT handle liquid and ceramic media.

The Thumbler Model B lists for $180.00+ but handles liquid and is industrial strength. It will hold 15.0 lbs of media and cases.

The model B is the one. You can purchase one from Buffalo Arms for around $145 They are fast shipping and the cheapest you will find on the mdl B. Buy your ceramic kit from them at the same time. I shoot nothing but BP and it's the only way to clean your cases. You don't need the "special" cleaner that comes with all ceramic kits and is priced way too high. Go to Home Depot and buy a gal jug of orange ZAP cleaner. A capful is all it takes for 100 cases and about 3 hrs turning. Don't use too much water, just enough to cover the brass and ceramic.
