Did a Hi-Power Savage come your way?

I wish, Just tired of contending with RCBS's almost under size bullets. their .225-55 might make .2245 with lino. I figure this .228 might make .2265, hone out a .225 H&I to .226 and I'll have something that will fit properly in Contender 22 Cal. BBLs1.5 MOA is all I'm asking for out of a 10" Hornet

You might find that bullet a bit long to stabilize in your Hornet. I just got the Lyman new version of the 225415, and it has to be pushed to fly in my 1-14" 77/22H. A different alloy may make your boolit cast somewhat larger too. I've been using some melted down junk commercial bullets, and have been sizing them down to .225. If you could blend that lino with WW, maybe it would help.

New Contenders have a 1-12 twist, I'ld get the 255415 IF anyone had it, and that's why I asked if anyone had one of the 228-60 bullets so I could get an OAL, . On an upbeat, the Saeco .225-60 I was given to try {THANK YOU} showed potentional and will be retested.

Wayne, I believe that Bullshop has the RCBS .228-60-FP. You might want to reconsider and look into the 225438. It's always done well in the Hornet for me.
BTW, if the 225-55 that you've been using is the 22-55-SP and you want to get rid of it, I've been looking for one at a reasonable price. Too many snipers waiting on swapping&selling.
