I've got a Stevens .223 with a 1-9 twist, and I'm in the process of trying to find a suitable mold for this. I would like to shoot heavier bullets, preferrably 55+ grainers. So, I have determined that the gun most likely has a .227 throat. I've been reading that the bullet should always be made to fit the throat, but in almost all the threads on these forums, those with .22 centerfires are almost always sizing to .224-.225.

So, what do ya'll think? Get a mold made to throw wider bullets at .227 to fit the throat, or should I stay with .224-.225 and make sure they kiss the lands?
