..............NEI has a couple http://www.neihandtools.com/catalog/index.html

Just not much in the way of designs for the .270. The 348 Winchester is in the same boat. One thing about the 270 is that it's probably known by 98% of gun people as a high speed flat trajectory hunting rifle. I do not believe I've ever seen an article (or heard of one) extoling the virtues of the .270 and cast. Not that it might not BE a superb cast boolit platform, just I've never heard or seen anything about it.

"The Art of Bullet Casting" has several articles by a young Jim Carmichael, of Outdoor Life fame, using the 270 and cast. Ol Jim, like many other big names, used to do some real meaty stuff. Anyway, he found the 270 can work fine with cast.

I have the 270 Lyman 280473 for use on oversized 6.5 bores. The 279 moulds come up on the auction sites regularly.

RCBS still sells a 270-150-SP mold as a standard catalog item. I have had good luck with it. 1.25-1.5 MOA in the 1900-2100fps range with H4198 and IMR 3031.

I believe SAECO still catalogs a 140gr TC for the 270, but don't have the mold and have never tried it.
