CCI Magnum Primers in 45acp

I have been loading for 45acp using 6grns of Clays Universal under a 200grn cast SWC. So far I have been using Winchester Large Pistol primers, wich are rated for standard and magnum loads. CCI Large Pistol Magnum primers are available in my area. If I drop the powder charge by say 10%, would these be acceptable to use? Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would try the CCI mag, drop down and work up again, its a new load.
