How much, if any lead can one expect to recover from an old powerboat hull?

I have a junked 21' bayliner cuddy cabin that I have been unable to give away, so I'm fixing to strip it for scrap, sell the scrap and dump the hull.

If I cut into the bottom of the hull can I expect to find usable lead?

I know my sailboat has 1500lbs of lead in it, but I have no intention of scrapping her.

Lead used in boats tends to be in the keel or just under the lip around the edges for balance. In small boats it might not be much if any.

That's my understanding also.

Something about ion discharge. Some water heaters have a zinc anode. Same reason.

just under the lip around the edges
Now that is nautical terminology of the first order, Sailor.
