I recently pickup a 310 tool with dies and found threads on the decapping rod are damaged also the threads inside of the decapping chamber are damaged. Is there anywhere that you can get a 1/4X36 tap & die?

I am out of the business but there are machinery supply houses that can supply that kind of tool check with lyman and see what they can do.as the tap would cost $10 or more.:coffee:[smilie=1:

I think your best bet is a new-used decap chamber -- Lyman/ideal has an affinity for propriatory thread sizes -- Most - not all -- decap chambers are universal caliber to caliber - they also have a nominal 13/32x32 thread - actually measures about .400 - which is not a standard size - The decap chamber being somewhat universal should be fairly inexpensive -- at least cheaper than trying to get a tap & die -- my ha-penny
