Ok, a little off topic since it doesn't have to do with casting. But they are lead boolits [smilie=1:

Just got back from "Big Box" Mart, and they actually had .22lr ammo in the 550rd boxes!!! :drinks:

Best part was it was only like $12 a box!!! You think prices are starting to drop? 9mm was still at abou $10 for a box of 50, but other stuff looked like it was a "little" cheaper. What do you think?

Cheaper than dirt has .380 ammo (CCI Blazer/the cheap aluminum case stuff) in stock on sale for $69.97 (for 50 rounds).

So the craziness isn't over.

Hehe. I love the comments at the bottom of the page. First was shock, when seeing the date they were left. Then came humor... Thank the lord, he gave us laughter...

Are you serious? I have never seen prices like that. What am I missing? Is it a joke?

Walmart?

The price is set at corporate. They aren't gouging. I believe their bulk .22's are standard house loss leader.

Walmart?

That'd be were I bought them from. I don't really care if they loose money on them. I'm just glad I finally found some at the one just down the road from me. For the longest time the only thing you could find were the little sleeves. I bought enough to feed my Ruger 22/45 for a while. At least 6-8 months that is. I really don't shoot it that often, and 1100rds should be enough to last me a bit.

Proof that either there are really, really dumb people out there or that CTD is paying someone to write that copy.

Yeah, "Best price I have ever seen"??? What is he 12 years old? Why is he buying pistol ammo? Wow.

My local Wally World has really cheap prices. The trouble is their shelves have been empty for months.
Right now, I'm giving away ammo, but I'm all out. Tee Hee.
