6-cavity mold 300 grns bullets. I'm looking at the Rowell #1 it holds 1 pound, 3/4 full that's 5250 grains, 300 X 6 = 1800 grains, looks sufficient.

I read also that the RCBS works great for a six-cavity. My Lyman ladle doesn't work too good, or do I need to fill three, then dip again.

Size is a problem also because I keep a thermometer in there and it's only a Lee 20# Magnum melter.

Looking for a good suggestion, thanks!

I use a RCBS ladle for pressure pouring. It's a bit bigger than the Lyman and also has a dross fin on the bottom. On a 6C, 300 grain boolit mold I would have to redip once. I do like a big sprue though. I also use a Rowell #1 ladle. It is outstanding for boolits that are shorter. All the normal 358, 41, and 44 pistol boolits as well as some of the 30 to 458 rifle. It seems to depend alot on length and band complexity. I used a small triangular jewelers file to put a groove in the Rowell's spout for a finer pour. both would serve all your needs well.

Thanks. That's what I was looking for.
