When you hang around the fishing pier offering to clean the boats for free just so you can steal the fishing weights from the boat tackle box.

You won't stoop over to pick up a penny or two, but you will pick up an old cruddy wheelweight.

when you walk pass your father's 1976 Porsche 911 and consider picking the stick-ons off the rims with a screwdriver!!

On business last month I was in St Paul. They were tearing down an old church to rebuild it a newer design. I was trying to figure out how much time it would take to "delead" the piles of broken stained glass before my flight back. :(

When you sweat over your wheel weights, and over your casting pot, and then hate to shoot your boolits cause someone else will get em.

When you pass out flyers to the citizenry offering to dispose of "harmful" lead. Hey JD, how did that plan work out [smilie=1:

Really poorly. Though I keep hoping someday the $20 bucks I paid in materials to make them will pay out. I would settle for a hundred pounds.

When you spend more time digging through the berm at the shooting range trying to recover
spent lead than you do casting & shooting...

Lol same here. I went to the range Sunday with 50 cartridges of 40 cal. Came back with 200+ brass and 15 pounds of lead. God bless CHL classes.

I went to my local range shortly after the last of the snow melted but the ground was still frozen except for the one inch of mud on top. I picked up about 35 pounds of lead bullets that had been shot over the winter. With the ground being frozen and the snow cover holding them down they were laid out in a nice area about 10 feet wide and 40 feet long. They all seem to be commercially cast bullets and will add to my mixings in my casting pot.
