Greetings all.

Marion Road Gun Club in Macon, GA will hold it's first ever charity rifle shoot on 4 April. Registration begins at 0930 and shooting starts at 1000. This shoot is open to everyone. Location is 6170 Marion Road.

The cost of admission is all the non-perishable canned goods as you can bring. All donations will be presented to the Macon Food Bank at the end of the month.

All semi-auto centerfire rifles in good working order may be used. Optics and iron sights are acceptable. Only 40 rounds are required unless you want to shoot sighters (number of sighters is up to you). Small prizes and certificates will be awarded.

Range is 100 yards and targets are provided. Eye and ear protection required for shooters and spectators.

There's no need to be bashful. All shooters and all rifles are "good enough" for this event. No need to worry about your shooting skills or equipment. I can assure you, no one really cares as long as we are safe and have a few laughs. Others who have participated can vouch for this. I hope to see you there for this very good cause. And for you guys who are scheduled to be at work, you need to arrange to be "sick" that day.

Send questions to orientation(at)marionroad.com.
