Anyone know where I can buy paraffin wax in the Phoenix AZ area? I'm in the East Valley.

How much are you looking for? I just buy Gulf Wax canning paraffin at Fry's.

Any large market will have paraffin in the canning section.

I got some at Ace Hardware yesterday.

Don't go to the one on Broadway and Rural. I got their last box. :mrgreen:

Most hardware stores carry it. You can order it from Ace Hardware also.

Don't know if you have Hobby Lobby stores there but in the candle section they have it in 10 lb chunks cheeper than any that I've seen.

The Walmart here in Oldsmar FL has the Gulf paraffin wax. I think that it was $2.50 for a 1 lb box. (aisle 8 in baking :-))

If you are looking for quite a bit try Michaels, they have the big 10# or so blocks.. It's a craft store and the usually have a 40% off one item in their Sunday adds. If you just want a little you can just get some candles but a good size grocery store will have it in the canning section.

Any grocery store ought to have it right next to the canning jars and and lids and Fruit Fresh and stuff like that. If you cant find it at the store you should be able to order it easily enough.

Incidentally, I recently discovered if you search for “carnauba wax” you will find products to polish your car, but if you search for “carnauba flakes”, you find the stuff sometimes used in boolit lube.

how much you want I have a lot of it but it is mixed diffrent colors together. if that will work for you.
getting ready to put it on craigs list or some thing. Just pay shipping and what ever you feel like giving me for it.
