I have a really nice 95%? Polish TT-33 Tokarev 7.62 x 25. I really like the caliber and the gun is nice too but it doesn't suit my present needs. The problem is I don't want to try and chase those nice expensive cases out of the snow and tundra. They are impossible to find. So my answer is to get a 9mm and not worry about picking up brass since I already have a bunch of empties and can scrounge as many as I need every summer from the range. So I considered getting a 9mm barrel for the Tok until I saw that they are going for $250 - $300 bucks in the kind of shape mine is in. So if anybody has a 9mm that they want to trade for a nice Tok I might be interested. I don't want to mess up the Tok for the collector nazis but I want better grips and sights. Norinco I think makes a 9mm on a similar pattern that would be OK if I can find one it basically has no value other than as a shooter. The same with the Hi Power clones.

Numrich parts has the Norincon model 213 9mm barrel for $49.80. That should fit that gun.

Joe,
That is a possibility that I had considered and I will probably go that route if nobody here is interested. It just seemed to me that there might be somebody here that would like a nice Tok. Personally, if I keep it it is gonna get shot, modified and carried as a user. That is why i am interested in a trade not a sale.

Well I had bought a brand new Norinco Tokie, also have the CZ 52...love the round. I sure don't let chasing brass ruin me liking a particular caliber or firearm. Being I have built and tuned 1911's I used what I know to tune my Norinco up some. I put better sights on it and tuned the trigger, added an overtravel stop to it, and made the slide release lever little bigger so my thumb could get a better purchase on it. All in all it's a decent gun and it shoots pretty good groups with cast bullets. I was surprised about that. My baby right now is a P08 Luger in 30 Luger caliber...another sweet little round.
