my mauser's shoots the rcbs 145 pretty well.
i am going to try the 160 rcbs here shortly in the wifes and daughters 9-1/2 twists and longer throated bbl's.
about 1800 or so has been the best accuracy so far and powder hasn't been the issue.
theyboth will shoot anything as long as i keep them in that range.
my 10 twist ackley will do a bit over 1900 before the accuracy starts to fade.
the heavier one is the same nose, and just has another lube groove so i will see how it goes.

I'll second the RCBS 145, my 7BR XP really likes that bullet at around 1900 fps. I've used it to shoot 80X80 in the NRA National Championships wth WW 748.

I have an XP100 in 7BR and it does great with some bullets and BETTER with others. I have used a 135 gr "soupcan" a160 grain Lyman and a fat 270 bulett that only weighs 112 grains. The 112 grain drops at .283" dia, so I teflon tape it and size it with a 284 sizer with a 7mm gas check on it. This is a fun little bullet that is accurate enough to hit 16 or 20 ounce soda/water bottles at 100 yards. There are too many good powders to list, but any of them seem to work.
