Has eny one else seen his new old style pistol yet. (tryed to post a pic ) I t's a nice looking pistol a bit on the high side a 599.00. but if it comes down some I'll get one. If eny one can post a pic of that gun please do so.:mrgreen:

Do a search here under howdah and we have quite a few threads and posts on the gun.

I really like mine:Fire::Fire: The one that I got from Cabela's has the steel ramrod and retention swivel so you can't loose the rod...very handY! I suggest the 20ga if you buy one...All reviews on the gun that I have read have included the phrase "wish I would have gone with the 20ga".

The one pictured buy Throwback is like the one Dixie sells with the loose wooden ramrod

.The chances of them going down in price is very slim...case in point...the 72 Kodiak=$599 a few years ago now over a $1000.

Part of the sport might be dodging those barrels as they whip past your head.:mrgreen:

Sure would make a good anti-carjacking tool. I'd love to see the look on some bad guy's face when you showed him those two muzzles.

I took mine out yesterday....just for fun I fired at my Popper that stands at 100yrds..... Sitting in a chair resting over my knee, Left barrel missed (always do:-D) right barrel, Smacked him right in the Head!!!. :Fire: Had to try it again...same thing missed with the left barrel and right barrel Clank! right in the head again:mrgreen:.

Shooting a WW PRB and a 45-70 case full of Black.... Loads of fun!

Mine is a custom 12ga built off of a Navy Arms 12ga Double Caplock.

OH BOY will it put the fear of god into an elephant... but that is about all it can hit at 25yds...

I sure like mine....need some proper balls. I drop 60 grs fff and two .490 balls in a plastic wad and let 'r go! Need some .615 balls.
