Unless my searching skills are poor, I can't find a list of resized/fireformed calibers.
I think it would be a great resource for some folks. Let's start it:

I'll even list the obvious because one never knows the jam they can get into.
I'll do the easy ones and as the list grows, I'll try to keep up on it (keep it all here in the first post)

.38 special from .357 mag
.44 special from .44 mag
6.5 grendel from 7.62x39
8mm mauser from .30-06
.308 from .30-06
6.5 x55mm Swe. Mauser from .30-06
7.65 x 53mm Arg. Mauser from .30-06
9.5x57 Mannlicher-Schoenauer brass from 30-06 or .35 Whelen
41 Long Colt cases from .38 Special cases
300 RUM from 404 Jeffery or 7mm RUM
7mm RUM from 404 Jeffery or 300 RUM
223 sized to 7mmTCU
250/3000 (250 Savage) from 22/250
7.5x55 Schmidt-Rubin from .284 Win.
7mm Intn'l (IHMSA) from .300 Savage
7 BR Rem. from .308 WCF (a real PITA but doable)
6.5 JAP from 35 Remington (sized with a 308 Win die first to limit the neck collapses)
6.5 Jap from 220 Swift - run it through a trim die first to knock it down to the proper 50mm length and then just resize.
7.62x25 Tok from 223 Rem cases. cut down to 25mm and then reform.
9mm Largo cases from 38 Super cases. Chuck the 38 super cases into a drill chuck and file the semi-rim down first and then size them in case you've crumpled the necks with the drill chuck.
7-30 Waters from .30-30.
ALL the 'x57s', up or down, 6mm Rem., .257 Roberts, 7x57, 8x57.
(Parent case design is 7x57.)
.22-250 from .250 Savage, like when it was a wildacat and no factory ammo was available.
.303 British to all the Epps cartridges and the Oz inventions like the Pygmy.
.220 Swift from .30-06.
.300 Whisper from .221 Fireball.

Keep it going

7.65 x 53mm Arg. Mauser from .30-06 (but only if Graf's is out of stock).

6.5 x55mm Swe. Mauser from .30-06 (only if you have a lot of 06 brass on hand as there are many steps involved).

9.5x57 Mannlicher-Schoenauer brass from 30-06 or .35 Whelen. That requires trimming the neck, but when you start with 8x57 Mauser brass, the neck ends up short. Regardless of what you start with, you need to fireform the case to fill out the shoulders.

I did make a bunch of 41 Long Colt cases from .38 Special cases, but that was before Starline started making 41LC brass.

Great idea, lunicy - but Molly beat you to it! The list you're looking for can be found by going to the bottom of this page and clicking on the "Castpics" banner. After it launches the home page, you will have a list of links on the left side, click on "cartridge conversions".

Bingo! Molly has provided us with a tremendous amount of information, just waiting to be used!!

Some of the more recent introductions are missing, like the Ultra magnums, the short magnums, the Marlin express, the .375 Ruger, etc..., but it's still a truly great resource!

How about we do the cartridges that aren't in that list here? I'll start it out with:
300 RUM from 404 Jeffery or 7mm RUM
7mm RUM from 404 Jeffery or 300 RUM

I hope this helps!

I prefer to make my 250/3000 (250 Savage) from 22/250's as they don't usually require reaming and I can usually pick 'em up for nothing. Regards, Woody

.41 Swiss from .348 Winchester
7.62x25 from .223 (a labour of love, 9 forming, trimming, and reaming operatons)
32-40 from 30-30, a tad short but usable
.358 Winchester from .308 Winchester
22-250 from 30-06, the dies cost more than a rifle nowadays
8.15x46Rmm from 30-30, rims are thick but work in some rifles
8.15x46Rmm from .225 Winchester, rims are a little thin but work in some other rifles.
.310 Martini Cadet from 32-20 Win, rims need to be thinned
7.62x39 from 6.5x54 M-S, brass was very scarce in the early 70s
.308 Winchester Rimmed from .444 Marlin, for a rebarreled Martini
8x58RD (Danish Krag) from 8x56 Hungarian, a tiny bit short but usable
30 Herret from 30-30

These are all calibers that I have done or am currently doing.
