I am buying a bunch of brass for my 40 and would like to know what the best shooting cast bullet is for it and the mold make and #.
Would like to stick with something around 155-180gr.

One of the nicest boolits that I've ever found for the 40S&W is the Lyman #401043 which is in fact a 38/40 WCF bullet but it works great in both my Glock 40S&W and my Glock 10mm. Cast in Taracorp equivalent alloy (2-6-92), the 2 cavity mold drops boolits at a touch over 0.401 in diameter and just a shade under 175gr, perfect for any 40 cal handgun. I seat this boolit just deep enough to cover the top lube groove and depending on what I'm loading for, I use either AA#5 or AA#7. Nothing against the TC and SWC boolits which I also cast and use but not too many people know about this neat little 38/40 boolit.
