Well, I picked up my first tumble lube mold. I have one of Ranch Dog's special ordered 190 gr. GC TL .358" mold from Lee. I have two other Lee molds, and I was having trouble getting good fill out with this one. Turns out I just needed to really get that mold hot before it dropped good bullets. I've heard this about Lee molds, but my hot plate has always gotten my 2 and 6 cav molds hot enough. I have to dip this mold in the melt to get it hot enough. Anyone else have this experience? And what is Ranch Dog's lubing process again? I think it involves lubing with LLA before and after sizing, but I can't remember. Help is welcome. Thanks!
