How fast is slow?

I"m much more familiar with pistol powders than with rifle powders, so can anyone tell me if the speed difference between 4895 and 4350 is more like that of the difference between Blue Dot and 4198 or Blue Dot and 4895. I'm working on a trade for some H205, a tad faster than 4350 according to the charts but this don't tell me anything, as I've no experience with these speed ranges.

Powder speed is a pretty vague idea. I tried to come up with a logical measure and came up with this. On average, it takes about 15 percent more 4350 than 4895 to produce the same velocity. Hope that helps.
