Man and I thought the $30 per 1000 was a touch high and that was local no shipping.

Should have bought Polaroid in '57. Should have bought Microsoft in '89.
Should have bought 1,000,000 CCI sm rifle primers in '06. :groner:

That someone would bid $50.00 is sad. That someone would try to sell at the price advertised is traitorous. The type of punishment I'd like to see inflicted on this person aren't fit for print.

The only way that we the gun community are going to get through the next few years with what few rights we have still intact is to work together in every aspect possible. This includes not only shareing information, but components and everything else to see that each of us have the materials needed to fight the good fight should it come to that. I doubt that any of us have all that we would like to have stashed away, but most of us have enough to meet our needs for a while. I find it disgraceful that anyone would charge the price of 5000 primers for only 1000. Maybe I am different, but I could in no way take advantage of one of my fellow gunowners because one of these days it may be me who is out of primers and can't get any.

Best wishes from the Boer Ranch,

Joe

You're not differen Joe, he is. It's the EBAY mentality put it up, you never know someone may buy it in a panic thinking they've gone up or something. An unscrupoulus (probably not spelled right) person will take advantage of this type thing all the time, sad but true.

I'd be curious as to how they were going to ship them?

Yesterday I bought 1K Winchester LP locally for $23.99. Sign of the times though, only a $4 break buying by the sleeve.

I've seen folks that will put just about anything in a flat rate box. Rules are for other people...

+1 for Joe,,
I avoid ebay like the plague
when I was over buying primers and powder a couple of weeks ago I could easily have bought out the entire stock of 2400 powder and LR primers, I didn't... what the heck leave something for the next guy !!!

You have every right to hate ebay if you wish of course but i fail to follow the logic of what some crook trying to do some price gouging on gunbroker has to do with ebay. Educate me please. I avoid them both. Others may do as they wish with no hassel from me.

I just saw primers on Gunbroker actually selling for $90.00 + per 1K!!

Just the sign of our new times I guess....out of stock everywhere; so if ya gotta have 'em, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Supply and demand. Capitalism.

Are some gouging others? Possibly, but I doubt anyone has a gun to their head to get 'em to pay that. It's panic buying brought on by fear of what may be coming, either legislative or the collapse of society.

I'm afraid we ain't seen nuthin' yet....

I went to a gun show in Columbus,Oh today there were'nt but a couple tables with reloading supplys but I was surprised how good there prices were the average price per 1lb canisters was under $20 primers were winchesters and were $30 per 1000 I told them it was nice to see decent vendors. The loaded ammo tables were another story way high IMO.

Goes to show that there are some people out there that will stop at nothing to make every penny they can , they don't understand "A Fair Price" , as the economy gets worse by the day,
we can get ready to see more of this...and worse.
