WT Try some .22's

Hey guys,

I would love to try some cast boolets in my AR15 and .220 Swift, I guess 55grn or maybe a little heavier, I would need these sized and with checks but can tumble lube with LLA if need be. I would like 100 to start with but 200 would be nice if its not to much trouble as I probably wont be buying a mold for a few years.

I have molds for the following claibers:

.30 - LEE 170 grn
.30 - LEE 160 grn tumble lube for 7.62x39
8mm - LEE 175 grn
.45ACP - LYMAN 200 grn wad cutter
.45ACP - LEE - 252 grn wad cutter (.454 but can be sized down as it has deep lube grooves).
.45ACP - LEE 230 grn round nose tumble lube
9mm/.380 - LEE 102 grn round nose
9mm/.380 - LEE 125 grn round nose
.44 (mag, special, etc.) - LEE 240 grn round nose

I would also make up and trade a bunch of .30 or 8mm aluminum gas checks if you dont want boolits, I use .008" newspaper lith plates wich make great checks.

I can provide the .30's and 8mm with homemade checks and can size the .30's to .309, the 8mm cast right at .325 so should be perfect for most bores as cast.
The tumble lube bullets can be shot as is but as stated I can size the .30 to .309
All other boolits listed I cannot size at this time.
I can tumble lube any of the boolits with liquid alox to suit your tastes.

Let me know what you want in trade, we can do weight for weight or? I am flexible to meet your needs.

I'm almost sure someone is doing it, but the 220 swift is probably a perfect candidate for Jbullets. Gonna be a trick to slow 'em down outta that big case.

It'll be easier to do in that black rifle, but ur still better off with Jbullets for the feed, gas port, and cycle action with low power.

still lookin guys! Actually there are some great loads with Unique, IMR4227, 2400, etc. for the .220 Swift.

I'm just about to try some of these in my .220 Swift using 2400 and maybe Unique, I'll start with 10 round of each with one powder and 10 each with the other.
The only problem I have is my Swift dies are Bonanza benchrest and have a competition seater die, I dont believe this will crimp the case mouth so I amat a loss on how to overcome that little obstacle, any suggestions?

If you want more of those down he road let me know, we could continue the same trade deal if you like once I know what will work best of the .22's you sent me. I am about to load 100 of those pills for my Kel-Tec P3AT, I have a few loaded with Aliant Power Pistol using a load recomended by one of their tech's, if that functions okay than I will run with that load, what powder are you using?

i need .22 bullets as well as 30 cal. I can offer this here as I did in other posts on this site. ...... if anyone has any laying around I have some 50/50 solder bars I can trade for some or I have some LR and SR primers Fed 205M's and CCI and Win.
