Amen to all comments. What makes it a WWI model? I did not know Colt was making 1911's anymore. It almost looks to pretty to shoot.

It is an exact Copy of the original, except for the serial #. Mine is an O1918 (run of 4000) they also did a O1911 ( run of 4000) it is in Carbona Blue where mine is Black. It has the same guts as a Series 70.

Shoots Great with 230 FMJ RN and 200gr LRN but didn't like the 200 gr LSWC, Don't know if was the reloads or the gun. But is is a dream with the LRN and FMJRN.
