Hey!

I looked through the old posts on this and no one reported actually shooting cast in their guns. Everybody was fixin' to, but....

Teppo Jutsu, the creator, said it would foul the gas system and warns against it.

My question is Has anyone shot cast bullets?
Does it foul the gas tube and bolt?

The army was using 22RF conversion kits in the '70's, but they had problems with the gas ports.

I really enjoyed casting for my 45-70.

Thanks for any info,
God Bless,
Liam

(sorry about the "fixin' to, I'm from Georgia)

This discussion has been under "AR thumpers" in the factory guns category. I'm currently waiting on a .450 Bushmaster upper which may never see a jacketed round after break in.
