Does anyone have any favorite loads in .45 Colt for the Lee 452-160 RF? I have cast up about 500 out of WW and Linotype and they weigh in at 169 grs. I sized them to .452 and lubed with Lee NRA formula alox/beeswax. For my first cut I used WW 231 and loaded them up with a range of 6.9 grs to 8.6 grs. The loads spit badly up to about 7.6 gr. I got my best accuracy at 8.6 gr. The 8.6 gr load was pretty stout and had an impressive flash. I fired them out of 7 1/2" BH and a 5 1/2" Cattleman. The Cattleman put them in 6 Shot clusters about 1 1/2" horizontally and 3/4 inch vertical. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good load?
