My 9MM pistol has a barrel that slugs .357-.3575. I am looking fo a boolit mold that will feed in the 9MM and that can be sized to .358......

Will one of the Lee 140 grain 38S&W boolit designs work for the 9?

Any suggestions are appreciated. I have had a miserable time trying to find what is needed. :groner:

I don't have any experience with the Lee boolit you asked about. The best feeding boolit for the 9mm that I have found is the Lyman 356402. It is a truncated cone design and feeding has never been a problem with my CZ75 or Springfield XD.

I have a 4 cavity that drops the boolits at .359 -.360, depending on which cavity, using straight wheel weights Both my current 9s slug at .357 so I size them to .358. I don't know if my mould is unusual in that it casts so large a diameter boolit but I'm glad it does. I've shot many, mnay 1000s of the 356402 without a feeding problem that I can recall.

I've bought several other 9mm moulds since I got the 356402 but that's the one I keep going back to. My only complaint with the boolit is that when sizing with the Lyman 4500 the truncated cone boolit is a bit hard to get a grip on. I keep my thumb and forefinger tacky with a bit of boolit lube to get a hold of them.

That's my $.02

Don't know about that one but the Lee 105g SWC sould work good for you if your gun doesn't have a feeding issue with SWCs. Might be lighter than you want, I don't know but it has worked good for me in 9mm, 357 & 38s.

I have 356402 and it leads terribly, it even keyholes. It drops out at .355-356, which is too small for my barrel.
