Have a lyman mould number 357446GW I know it's a 38cal 165gr SWC but what does the GW stand for.

Somehow I dimly recall a question about this, the answer being that the letters didn't have anything to do with the design but designated a particular cherry, or drawing, or something like that.

I believe it identifies the machinist who cut the cavity.

I had one 44 mag that had 429421US with the US meaning under size instead of casting like .432 or.433 it casted .429.
This is a newer Lyman mould that came in the plastic orange box.

Got an email from Lyman.
the letters on the moulds reference the cutter used and the machine the
mould was made on.
