I am pretty darn proud of myself for collecting all these ww's, but I am having trouble trying to produce an effective cartridge. I must be missing a step somewhere along the way.

Not only does the powder keep falling out, but the cartridge won't fit in the magazine!

I put mine in a 20 ton press. It works great, you should try it.

I've had good luck using locktite and painting the WW with copper paint, that way it think it's a jacketed [smilie=1:

From experience, you do have to remove the clip first. The BAC will also help make a seal in the chamber. Gotta have a long bolt handle though.
Don't use JB Weld on the cartridge mouth though. It is hard to remove the steel powder from the rifleing.

Dern Idjit. That there is an Asperly Aimless reload. Can't do that without a proper Asperly "Swage-N-Load" Press...

First install the primer, then the powder. Now, install the WW as you pictured and place on a heat source to melt the lead...

(yes, I am just joking...)

Just so we are clear, this is a joke! Do not do it! On second thought, if you are dumb enough to try it, the gene pool needs some thinning anyway...

I was thinking of saying, "Melt it and pour it inthe case." But after seeing so many :drinks: now I'm afraid to bring it up.

I think that I see the problem.
No loob grooves.
If you search the forum, you will find the thread where folks are selling and swapping loob grooves.
After you get the loob grooves installed, you need to fill them with loob made with invisible bear grease.
I would be glad to send you some but I set it down somewhere and now can't find it.

Jack has a valid point. Don't forget the crimp grooves while your at it.
