I would bet the farm I saw a thread or an answer posted on a thread about case's and how much a 1000 would weigh.

Have an old freind that has moved back into Calif. and is now in the scrap industry.

Wonder of Wonders he gets range scrap from a few places that cater to LEO shooters! I saw in his facility 2 containers, each about 5 gaollons or more, both half full of Winchester 223 and 40 S&W! My guy says they do get other rounds from time to time and would rather sell the melt them!

Gave him a big pat on the back and offered help in the way of amounts, weights and pricing!

Anybody remember where I saw this thread? Better yet anybody know what 40 S&W .223 308 04 45 auto weigh per thousand?

Just trying to help an old bud and maybe pass along a deal or two to members here.
