Well... Here goes

The little woman returned from the grocery store this evening with my castor oil and Ivory soap. I already have everything else. So before I embark on my lube making adventure does anyone have any words of wisdom or helpful hints? I intend to follow the FWFL recipe to the letter except for the use of ATF instead of mineral oil that way I will have a known reference point in case I need to vary the formula.

Go to it, it should work very well. I just use mineral oil and love the stuff. Felix will go down in history as far as I am concerned.
Did you get lanolin yet?

yes. I have all the ingredients. I figured the soap and castor oil would be easily obtained so waited till I had everything else in hand. May try later on today.
