can I put on the lube resevoir screw on the 4500 sizer? I started sizing for the first time tonight after getting a batch of Speed Green. I have been putting enough pressure on the lube to get two boolits done and then turning the wrench a quarter turn for the next two. What's normal?

Remember the old saying about hand torque? Tighten the bolt until it strips, then back it off a half turn......

Seriously, there's no way to describe how much pressure you can apply, it depends on the boolit design, number of lube grooves, diameter, viscosity of the lube, sizer temperature, etc.

What usually fails when too much pressure is applied is that the threaded rod that you're turning pulls out of the casting. Less is better, until you get a feel for how much is too much.

Thanks, makes sense to not over do it.
