I bought some reloading stuff and in it were two boxes of loaded ammo labeled:

Fabrica Militar
"San Francisco"
15 Cartouchos
Cal. 7.65x54 mm. Cxxmin "SS"
Lote Mun 7
Fulminate No Corrosivo
Industria Argentina

What exactle are these? Are they 7.65 Argentine or just 7mm or??
I've never seen them before. TIA

They are 7.65 Argentine cartridges manufactured in Argentina. Made for use in the M91 & M1909 Argentine rifles. Should shoot ok but accuracy depends.......

Almost certainly corrosive-primed, too. When/if you shoot those, run a couple of wet (water) patches through the bore, followed by a couple of lightly oiled patches as soon as practical afterward. A two or three hour delay won't hurt but don't let the gun sit overnite without attention. Trust me, I speak from personal experience on this.

I assumed by the "no corrosivo" they were not corrosive, but you may be right. I don't have a 7.65 Arg. so I'll probably sell or trade them at the next GS. Thanks.

Uhmmm...missed the "Fulminate No Corrosivo". My Spanish may be a bit rusty but I think it translates to something like 'non-corrosive fulminate" except I've never encountered a fulminate-based primer that wasn't corrosive. Oh well, if you're not planning to shoot 'em, let the next guy worry about it.

Fulminate means Primer in Spanish... But I'd still treat it as corrosive. Better safe than sorry..

I am not sure those are shooters as I have had 3 split cases rom 3 different 15 round boxes. I wuld hang on to them for collecting and go with Privi.

even if the primers aren't corosive it doesn't mean the powder isn't.
notice the x54 designation instead of the x53??
you might want to make sure they fit YOUR belgian/argie...
