I have a RCBS 180-Sil and 200 Fn molds, both gas check. I also have an RCBs 150 and a lyman 158 Keith, both plian base.

Now that I removed all the copper fouling I want to shoot a variety of lead bullets in the BLR 358, and of course also want to keep an eye out for another mold to try something in the 225 to 250 weight. I have some of the Group buy bullets, the ones that look like an extra grooved Keith style SWC, but that mold aquisition seems to be a dead end.

Anyone have a compilation of currently available molds, or at least commercial moulds in this range I should keep an eye out for? Every time someone lists 358 molds I spend 15 minutes checking the lyman, etc numbers just to see what they are....lol

Thanks for any suggestions.

BTW, I have a 30 cal Lee, and don't really like the aluminum, but it is probably just me and my limited use of it.
Btw, if you have something like I am looking for, please PM me so I don't miss buying it....

The Holy Grail of 35 rifle boolits is the Lyman 3589 or 358009, a huge, blunt nosed boolit. It won't stabilize in all 35's and at 260+ grs would be rather heavy for a 358. There 358318 and 358315 are lighter and more streamlined, but the 358318 is out of production. There are zillions of 38 pistol boolits you can use and SAECO, RCBS and NEI all offer good 35 boolit designs. Check their websites and go here for the Lyman mould list- http://www.three-peaks.net/bullet_molds.htm

I got along for 22 years quiet well with the RCBS 35-200FN in my .358. I added a 225 grain cut by Dan at Mountain Molds but, the RCBS still sees much use. The Lyman 358156 SWC is a hoot in the .358 powered with 10-11 grains of Unique.

Cast Bullet Engineering (CBE) in Australia does a real nice 250 gc flat nose. I think it is
359-250GC. It goes very well in my 35-303 & 9x57 mauser.
Cheers Euan.
