I am working 1 hr east of St Louis this week. Is it worth the trip over there? Do they have a showroom, or just a counter?
And I cant get on thier website this morning.

Yes they have a rather nice showroom. I go there at least once a month. They have been short on several things that they had in the past but it is worth the trip if you are going to be in the area. They also have a nice selection of firearms as well, and the prices on their guns are reasonable compared to other shops here in the East Central region of MO. The showroom is easy to find just follow Hwy 54 North from I-70, and get off of Hwy 54 at the first Mexico exit, which is Business 54. Graf's is on the right side of the road past Wal-Mart and the John Deer dealer ship. It is a fairly large white warehouse looking building. with a tall white sign in front of the parking lot. Hope this helps. Enjoy you trip to MO and have fun at Graf's I can never get out of there in less than an hour. If you don't see something you are looking for ask the staff, as many of the items that they normally have on the shelves are out in the warehouse, and are available.

Best wishes from the Boer Ranch,

Joe

#54 is about the 150 mile marker on I-70 and then it's about 10 miles up to GRAFS. No speed traps, but there can be!

SWMBO just left to visit her sister west of Mexico and GRAFS...putting together a list when she stops by on Tuesday or Weds on the way back.

Grafs also has a retail store just outside of St. Louis in St. Charles mo. Unless they have closed it in the last year or so. It's on 5th street, not far from the bass pro shop. I used to shop there a lot when I lived in STL, like a kid in a candy store.

ddeaton you can go to the new cabellas by st louis airport. Someone last year at basspro tried to send me to the stl graffs location, but I couldn't find it. I had stopped by Basspro(the last time I went and havent been back since) they had gotten rid of all their hunting stuff. So I go to cabbelas now if in the area(and cant be found local)

ddeaton,

The Grafs in St. Charles is well worth the visit. It is located just off I-70, west of St. Louis, just across the Missouri river.

Heading west on I-70, cross the bridge over the Missouri river and take the first exit (5th street). Head north, Basspro will be on your left, Grafs is a mile or so further on the left. There's a big casino complex at that exit, you can't miss it.

While you're in the area, Basspro is worth a visit, I've been there when I visited back home. I've also been told the new Cabelas there in St. Louis is also good to browse in.

If you plan to spend any more time in STL, drop me a PM and I'll point you to a couple of mom & pop gun shops that are worth a visit.

Grafs in St. Charles is not a branch Of the Grafs in Mexico. I think there is some family connection but they seem to operate as separate businesses.
I tried to place an order at the Mexico store for pickup at St. Charles and it was like I'd ordered something at Bass Pro for pickup at Cabelas.
I wanted to get a Dillon press in St Charles that was not in stock. I knew it was in stock in Mexico but they said they would order it direct from Dillon.
The St. Charles store only has about 20% of the stuff they carry in Mexico - check out their website.
I'm not bad mouthing St. Charles. They are nice people and I've bought a lot of reloading supplies there. Their strongpoints are bullets, brass and powder.

Guys, I didnt make it. I worked all day today and then drove home this evening before the big storm hits tomorrow. I do a lot of work over in IL and will be there again in a couple weeks. I am going to give myself a day to run around then. Sounds like its worth a trip to Mexico.
