The size limit is too low at 36kb. I can't post bullet pictures now and we have a group buy started. My file is 47kb which I posted before. If you can make it alot larger than that, it should work for all future stuff.

I am going to quote an e-mail I sent to 45 2.1

I did up the picture size to 100 K. But please use this option sparingly because every picture you upload adds space on my server. It may seem like 60 K is not that big of a deal.. But when you get 700 users uploading that size file over and over again, and the board is up for 5 years.. Can you imagine the space it will take? So yea, it's been upped..

Is time that relevant? What I mean is, can't you build a Sunset Clause into the picture and/or data entries? Like temporary files? As new ones are added, the oldest entries disappear forever...Archives are nice but some of our number have the capability to archive the data on CDs or in zip files and can send copies to others. To me, full features now are more important than having a stash of posts that I MAY want to peruse 10 years from now. This isn't Shakespeare or the Illiad...

By the way, is our link to your photo hosting site still valid?

In your personal profile, you will see "Attachments" down at the bottom. This is where you personally update your own attachments. You have a storage of I believe 600K per member. When you reach your limit you will have to go in and delete them yourself. By doing this members can keep them updated.

Yea photo hosting links still work.

Sounds like a good way to do things.

I did my bit, I zapped the photos I had uploaded. After each photo, there was the word 'downloads' and a number. Does that mean someone(s) downloaded my photos and copied them? I have no objection, I stole them myself, just curious...

I think picture wise, it's just how many times that picture has been seen by others..

...........Are we no longer able to copy photo addresses into a post from a webhost elsewhere? For example I store photos at FotoTime.com. I generate and address for it and have always been able to cut and past it into a post and have the photo appear (using the forums image process). Now with this new format it appears it is not recognizing the URL, saying it isn't valid, or words to that effect.

I have checked my 'Control Panel' here and see nothing about this issue. Wassup?

Okay, I found out that by adding to the front of the url and the the end will get a photo into the post.

Next question, and/or observation. It appears that you can only get 4 photo's or 4 'smily face icons', or a combination totaling four as max in a post. Is that right?
