Y'all got any suggestions on where would be the best place to buy brass for a 7.5 X 55 Swiss?

Thanks, IMR

Graf and sons has nice heavy duty brass for about $28.00 a hundred and they only charge $3.75 for shipping. This is my excuse for buying lots of stuff when I order from them.

I ended up getting Graf's brass from BuffaloArms.com when they were advertizing Hornaday. There was a delay on the Hornaday and they shipped Graf's at the Graf's price. I have no complaints. I'd buy it again. It's Prvi Partizan and it's good brass, just a hair long.

I ordered 7.5X55 brass from Graf a couple of weeks ago. They said they were out and they would not have any in untill April. Two days ago I got a UPS tracking email sayin Graf had shipped my order. It seems Graf may have 7.5X55 brass back in stock. If it is Privi Partisan brass does it have a Privi or a Graf headstamp? I thought the last I got said Graf.

....................I needed 7.5 Swiss brass when Graf's was awaiting a summer delivery. I was told to buy some Winchester 284 Win brass and FL size it. I bought 100 cases from Wideners, and did as I was told, then fully fire forming 50 of'em. They turned out perfect. So that is another option if someone needs more and Graf is out. Naturally headstamps don't match, but I doubt I'll ever get anything in 284 Win. Wouldn't chamber anyway with that 30 cal caseneck.

It's Graf's headstamp. I read somewhere that Graf's got it from Prvi.

All, Graf was indeed getting its "metric" brass from PriviPartizan, but that may no longer be the case (no pun intended) as Privi- violated its agreement with Graf & Sons. If that's what really happened, i.e., if Privi- really sold its brass to a higher bidder when under contract with Graf, it transpired last July or August. Btw, the quality of their 7.5 x 55mm is very good, but a step below the "T Swiss" brass I previously used.

Buckshot,
Check this out for me: Do a case dimension comparison between the 7.5 X 55 and the 8MM. I see the 8mm case being .051 longer and the 8MM case head being .0125 smaller on the radius. If I'm right, trimming .051 off the length after FLRing and fireforming is all it will take.

gentlemen.....

sportsmans has russian "gold" loaded ammo in all of our popular calibres.......
for 7-8 per 20 you get to fire form, then load to your specs....

for 50 bucks or so you get to shoot once and then have a 100 pcs of brass
