lyman 45

well looks like my lyman 45 finaly died :mad::groner: . got a small crack between the die recess and the lockscrew to hold the die . now the dies are leaking around the die also. o well had it 4 15 years and it was free.

thinking abt the 4500 with heater going to try the harder lubes in it. can i still use the 50/50 in it if i dont use the heater? any thoughts or recomdations? thanks brian

If it were mine, I'd braze the crack.

My Lyman sizers are 450's, and they don't need heat for applying 50/50 unless the temperature drops below 50 degrees. They still work at 50 degrees, but it takes a lot of force.
