Does anyone know of a tumble lube mold for .380. I have a Lee TL356-124-TC which I use for 9mm but I don't think that's good for the .380. ( I read here someone state that I would have to pack too much boolit into the case which would increase pressure?). I would like something around 90 to 100 Grains as that seems to be the norm in the reloading books. This is just for plinking. I dont have a sizer/luber so I T/L and shoot as cast. All my casting stuff is Lee right now and I'm well pleased with it, but I'm willing to cross to the dark side  if necessary and try another brand:veryconfu Anyway, I would prefer the Lee T/L design but would try something else that would hold thinned Alox well enough to shoot at plinking velocities. Thanks for any suggestions......Bill

I use the Lee 366-102-1R for 9mm and .380 with excellent results. I don't think there is a tumble lube version of this mold though. My drop at about 105-110gr and .358 diameter. I size to .357 and get excellent accuracy.
You could always just get a Lee push through sizer and then tumble lube them in LLA.

I use the Lee 358-105-SWC sized to .356 and tumbled lubed in my Ruger LCP 380.

I use the Lee 358-105-SWC sized to .356 and tumbled lubed in my Ruger LCP 380.

How is the feeding and accuracy with that boolit? I was considering trying that one in my P3AT and 9mm's.

How is the feeding and accuracy with that boolit?

Only shot about 75 of so but have had no feeding problems. Accuracy is on par with the factory .380 I've shot. I'm gonna try sizing to .357 with the next batch just for the heck of it.

Thanks all, I thought you needed the mini grooves of a T/L mold to use LLA. I'll try your suggestions.

I ordered that mold from Lee factory sales about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Still waiting. Can't wait to try it out in my PPK/S.

I'll second everything said.

That Lee mould drops a very good boolit. I tumble-lube it in a mix of LLA/JPW, put 3.0 grains of AA#2 behind it and get excellent results.

The boolit is too danged small to fumble with on the lubrasizer. Tumble-lubing is a whole lot easier.

My only real gripe is the lack of a 6 gang mold. Ditto with the 9mm Makarov version.
