Does Lee guarantee group buy molds ?

I posted this thread on "Group Buys" but thought I'd put it here to:


I broke the sprue cutter handle on my 120 gr FN that I got on the group buy last September ! I mean the metal part, not the wooden handle.

I habitually leave the mold filled between casting sessions. The cutter arm snapped when I went to cut the cold sprues. I have done this for years on other Lee 6 cavity molds with no problems. Fortunately, I just took one off another mold and I was back in business.

Will Lee fix this under warranty ? The mold is less than six months old.

I sent them the pieces with a letter asking for warranty repair and they sent out a replacement PDQ.

I did just that. USPS tracking says they (Lee) received it today. We'll see.
