I am trying to decide on a Saeco mould for .308. I will be using it primarily for practice shooting and hunting. Pinpoint accuracy is not my primary concern. I am also considering experimenting with it in my AR10.

I was considering either the #307 or #315.
I was also looking at the Lyman 311291, but I really want a 4 cavity.
Any suggestions? Has anyone ever tried loading for the AR10?

Not sure of the # but it's the 165 truncated cone /\ nose, considering the cost for a 4 cavity Saeco maybe you should consider 2 rcbs 165 Sil molds

Thanks for the input Wayne.

Does anyone else have any insight into casting for the .308? What are your favorite molds? I have searched and read every thread on this board regarding the .308. Just trying to get as much advice as I can before I commit to buying a bunch of molds.

I just bought 3 of the Lee's. 160, 170rfp, 180. I cast some up and waiting on my size die for them. I am wanting to run some through my AR10 also and 700 bolt.
I got the cheap Lees first to see if I am going to stick with it, but they cast up real nice and I see no reason now to get another.
