Does Lee guarantee group buy molds?

I broke the sprue cutter handle on my 120 gr FN that I got on the group buy last September ! I mean the metal part, not the wooden handle.

I habitually leave the mold filled between casting sessions. The cutter arm snapped when I went to cut the cold sprues. I have done this for years on other Lee 6 cavity molds with no problems. Fortunately, I just took one off another mold and I was back in business.

Will Lee fix this under warranty ? The mold is less than six months old.

Pack it up separately with a simple statement you want a warranty replacement part for the broken part as the mold is only 6 months old.

Don't get into the group buy thing at all -- Pat will simply refer back to the drawing for that mold, find something that does not fit the LEE requirements and blow you off if the issue gets to his desk.

So, don't go there. Tell a much simpler total truth to the customer service clerk that opens your package and let them do what they normally do with bad powdered iron parts.
