do you want the mold for the Beartooth style 265gr booilt with the three crimp groves?

do you want the Lee tumble groved 265gr boolit with the gas check that Ranch Dog posted?

if there is enough interest in both boolits maybe there should be a group buy on both.

if you want to see pictures of these boolits please check out the other group buy topic on this.i couldnt get the pictures to take here.sorry

thanks,
jeff

It's a sticky until a design is decided, and then I will 'unsticky' it so it will float.

That sounds like a good plan to me. Let 'em run long enough and I'm sure you'll get enough checks for each design. Just don't put too short of a time limit on them.

I'm in the Birch Run/Frankenmuth area, between Flint and Saginaw along I-75. Always glad to say "Hi" to a fellow Michgander.

Like I said, if you decide to run both designs just give each of them enough time for word to get around to other boards. Setting a short deadline for the checks to get in will only hurt your number of orders. I'm sure you could get 25 of each ordered. Might even go for one of each myself, but I'm definately in for the 3 crimp groove WFNGC that 45 2.1 designed.

I voted for the tumble lube design because I want a simple to cast and lube without sizing for a lever .44. I'm not sure this is doable with a fat driving band. I'm undecided at this time whether I would go for the other one if it was the only one offered.

I voted for the Beartooth, but would take either. I would probably take both :Fire:

Can just imagine how easy the Lee Tumble Lube would drop from the mould. Plus, I know that it feeds in the Marlin .444. I'd take one of those. Hope it comes out no bigger than .433.

I voted for the WFN design although I have no desire to order a mold as I one a fine Ballisticast four banger in this design and a DW 744 chambered for that same mold by the DW shop. At the time DW did that for me for $45. If I was looking for a rifle boolit I'd rather go with the 250 grain LFN design with the long gas check shank and single additional lube groove. I say this because the WFN design accuracy goes to H*** when it comes down through the sound barrier. The LFN design is much better at longer ranges, (over 150 yards), in my experience, at least from the revolver. BD

I couldn't get in on RD's first buy due to a lack of cash. Now I have it, and I'd be interested in BOTH! I'd really like two cavities though, but I'd still be interested in at least one of the six cavities...
