Neck sizing only

Like the guy below I would like to just neck size with my Lee dies but for my 7.5 swiss. But as soon as the neck starts to be sized I can't get the case to chamber. What dimension is being changed enough to cause this? Is their any other way to try it?

Try turning the size down 1/4 turn at a time till the case will chamber

Remember that the straight pull rifles don't have the leverage that the turnbolt rifles have. You may have to full length for the Swiss and the 1895 Steyr and such.

sounds like you may have a large chamber. When you neck size only there is not enough support at the bottle neck area and it tends to crush. shotman
