Did we ever do a Group Buy of a Lyman 429640 or maybe a SAECO 430? I am looking for a good 44 caliber bullet of about 275 grains weight, round/flat type nose shape. If we ever did one, does anyone have an extra to sell? Or is anyone interested in running a buy for such?

Sounds like an excellent candidate for my first brass mould.

It seems like there was one like that but it was about 295 gr and with two crimp grooves.

Yep, here it was:

Boomer also ran a plain base version too. It was pretty popular, it might even fly with a good number of orders again.

Put me down for one. I'd prefer plain base but I'd take either. It isn't going to run fast enough in a .44 mag to need gas checks. Ranch Dog's 265 grain is not to far from this one, I may buy one of those if it doesn't take off here.

I might be able to help ! Give a couple days to dig ! :)

I have a 2 and 6 cavity RANCH DOG TLC 432 265...and like the boolit. I just don't need the gas checks in my pistols...44 Special level loads around 950 is adequate.
I'd like a 429640 plain base in a 4 or 6 cavity mould. I'm waiting for the Old West 44 wadcutter group buy mould so I can have a better idea of his quality control. The LEE is OK, but I prefer something more substantial than aluminum if it is available.
Anyone have a plain base group buy mould they want to sell? Send me a PM with price and info.

EDK, I'm thinking RanchDog also. In a 6 cavity mold and have someone turn out three cavities to plain base style. The best of both worlds.
P.S. I wish someone would get word to Gary that there is a problem on his website, the loading data for the .44 caliber 265 grain bullet won't display, I keep getting a 404 error.

I finally found my extra 434640-PB Group Buy mould. It is New in the Box !
Let me know if you are still interested.
You can have it for my original cost + shipping to "AREA 51" !
Best Regards,

Jerry,
Blammer is a deadbeat. He had to take a bailout payment. You should send that mould to me.
I pay cash.

Dean asked me for a loan. He ain't getting it. Poor credit risk. Better give it to Blammer. I at least got his cat for collateral.

as trade.
GLL had a bunch of people wanting his spare mould. I put a WANT TO BUY in the classifieds, but won't hold my breath waiting for one.
Do we have a volunteer to honcho a group buy and handle the supplier details, etc.?

I need one. It's for 3 revolvers and a lever gun, so I'd prefer a gas check version, but I'll be on the band wagon for whichever I can get.

Take a look at RANCH DOG's TLC 432 265....he did have six cavity moulds in stock awhile back. It's the first tumble lube boolits I used and I like them...just don't like the price of gas checks for my usual load levels...about 900+ in revolvers.
I'd be thinking of this in plain base for revolvers and the RD for rifles...just enough differences to see which boolit you have in a loaded round. I do about 20 pistol rounds for every rifle round.

Buy a Ranch Dog Mold, mill out the gas check shank on 3 cavites, you got both bullets then.
