I have mostly 4 Cavity molds, and I have always used bottom pour pots for casting and have been very happy with the results. However, I have accumulated several massive H&G eight and ten cavity molds that I have yet to use. I'm thinking that bottom pour may not be the way to go, and I think I'm going to need a good ladle to use with those molds. Any recommendations?

Any other tips on working with those big molds?

What size boolits? You will need a bigger one for 45s than 38s. There is a company that sells a bottom pour ladle in various sizes, but I can't remember the name.
I has a 10 hole #50 and it worked with a support on an RCBS Pro-Melt.

Rowell is the name of the ladle.

Can't rmember the company name although several companies handle it.

Try Bill Ferguson 520-458-5321 I think he carries these.

I normally run two moulds at the same time. While one is being filled the other is setting up. I have ladle poured with a ladle fron H & G . It is currently available from Ballisti-cast for $15. It is NOT like an RCBS or Lyman, sorta like a big round spoon with a small open spout. It works very well with some moulds and bottom pour works well with other designs. Ladle for # 68, and bottom pour for # 503. It is almost impossible to cast a bad boolit with the # 68 moulds with either method. The # 503 almost requires a bottom pour to get the square bases completely filled out. I have a 6 and an 8 banger in 503, and an 8 in 503S.
I just purchased a new ladle last week. My old one is showing signs of wear and useage after 25 plus years, and literally tons of alloy.

When you say bottom pour, are you talking about a bottom pour pot, or a bottom pour ladle like the Rowell ladles. If ladle, are both types of ladles offered by Ballisti-cast.

The Balisti-cast website shows a price for lead ladles, but no pictures.

By bottom pour I mean that I utilize an RCBS PRO MELT or LYMAN MAG 20 bottom pour furnace. I do have a Rowell bottom pour ladle from Advance but it is completely different than the H&G ladle. It is a good ladle, just not my cup of tea. I have one one lb Rowell and two 40 pounders. They work great.
