How well do 7mm gaschecks work on .270 boolits?

There's a sticky that provides gascheck dimensions but it looks like there's an error or two on it. According to the chart, the cup thickness is the same for the 7mm and .270 Hornady checks and the inside diameter of the .270 check is .002" greater than the 7mm check (I can buy that); however, the outside diameter of the .270 check is .024" smaller than the 7mm check. This doesn't add up.

BTW, the .375 check outside diameter can't be .367" but that's not the subject here.

Marlin,

I can't help you on how well they work, but I can help you with some measurements on the .270 check dimensions. Maybe someone with 7mm or 6.5mm checks can add some additional info. These are Ideal gaschecks.

Thickness
0.009"

Inside Diameter (measured at top of cup)
0.250"

Outside Diameter
0.277"

Overall Height
0.077"

If we could get the measurements of some 7mm and possibly some 6.5's we'd really be cookin'.

7mm = .284 and 270 = .277. they aren't the same.
