On the Internet I found a reduced load for the 9.3x74R that was quoted as coming from the Speer manual #13: 270 grain bullet, 25.0 grains of SR 4759 powder, CCI 200 primer, RWS case. COL 3.665". MV 1537 fps in 24" barrel.

Can anybody who has a Speer #13 look and tell me, is that a starting load or a maximum load? Just being careful.

NuJudge--

Speer #13, pp. 387--shows SR 4759 as a "reduced load" application, starting weight 21.0 grain yielding 1252 FPS and listed max load of 25.0 grain yielding 1537 FPS. No pressure values are given in either the loads listing or the comments text, other than to say that the loads "......closely approximate (v.) the velocities of European factory ammunition,......."--which these loads don't. Test firearm is a Valmet Model 412S.

And they even used my make & model firearm to test it.

Many thanks.
